The Parthenon is one of the most famous still standing antique monuments of Ancient Greece and one of the best known buildings in the world. As a focal point of Athens’ skyline it’s been dominating the acropolis for over 2,500 years—and now Second Life® as well. The Parthenon has been erected on our virtual land to symbolize and exemplify the possibilities of building in Second Life®. As a 1:1 true-to-scale model it is made of 216 objects and is probably the most photographed object in Second Life®.
